  • Developed new software and enhanced existing software on an IBM PC compatible telemarketing system written in Microsoft C and Clipper on Digital Research's Concurrent DOS and DR Net. The system has various configurations including one involving PC networks and one with TSRs running on PC workstations linked to a server through the communications port.
  • Developed telemarketing system in OS/2 Presentation Manager in Microsoft C and SQL using IBM's Database Manager and user interface software using ENFIN/2, a 4GL Smalltalk-based object-oriented development environment under OS/2.
  • Performed in-house training courses on various software packages, including WordPerfect, dBASE and OS/2.

Sr. Computer Scientist/ Sr. Systems Analyst

  • Project leader in the development and maintenance of the Program Management System (PMS) in a multi-user environment on several IBM PC/AT's utilizing C, Clipper and dBASE III PLUS and a Prime 3550 minicomputer, using the INFO database management language. Performed this analysis, program development and documentation in support of a contract with the Office of Research and Development of the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
  • Was Project Manager for microcomputer systems development with responsibility for two programmers and a data entry technician. Work included various types of budget and financial tracking systems in support of a contract with the Office of Research and Development of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. This work also included providing for on-site training and trouble-shooting.
  • Additional duties included instructing a C programming class to several other SCI Data Systems employees.
  • Work was also done for the Office of Marine Estuary Protection of the EPA, including a project milestone system and contract tracking system. In addition, worked on development of scientific graphics package in C and Assembly Language for an IBM PC/AT.

  • Performed database design and development in the C programming language in conjunction with dBASE III PLUS data files on an IBM PC/AT in support of a contract with the AV-8B Office at the Naval Air Logistics Center in Patuxent, Maryland.
  • Additional duties included database design, analysis, program development and documentation on an IBM PC/XT in dBASE III PLUS supporting the C-130 Office in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Applications were financial and scientific in nature.
  • Was responsible for the financial programming needs of the Program Management Offices of the P-3 and E-2 aircraft of the Naval Air Systems Command.
  • Major accomplishments included having served as Project Leader to develop and modify the Automated Maintenance Plan Index System for the Maintenance Plans & Policy Program of the Naval Air Systems Command.
  • Other major accomplishments include designing a Retrofit Analysis System utilizing a Life Cycle Cost model which was nominated for a technical achievement award.
  • Also served as the system manager of a multiuser Molecular microcomputer which was used as a group resource and managed a Navy 3M Maintenance Data Base on an HP-3000 minicomputer.
  • Had secret clearance from May 1979 to July 1986.
